Salt water fish drift with the current into the shallow lagoon of Barra de Potosi. This young Mexican woman catches the fresh fish which are served at her family’s restaurant on the beach. This scene was painted midday beneath the palm thatched roof of that restaurant. The young woman with her orange bucket and fishing net were added in my studio from the reference material I collected that day.
